Jonah is not only a wonderful prophet that remind us the need to repent, but he also mirrors to us the issues we have in following Christ. We are all called to follow Jesus, but sometimes we misunderstand his call or run from it. Going off the mark in this way may not be sinful, but it does keep us from living to the fullness of humanity entrusted to us by God.
