The Frank Friar - Episode 206: Learning from Aromatic Smells

One of the things I incorporated in my life from my amputation is the use of aromatic candles. I use these smells to help my emotional self. Using these smells over the past few months has been a great learning experience for me. I speak about some of the things I’ve learned from while using these candles. Smell is a gift from God we are called to cultivate and appreciate. The Frank Friar - Episode 205: Knowing thy Self

Part of my physical therapy was learning about different muscle groups that I will need to work on to maintain a better quality of life. As I ponder over those physical demands my mind has gone to the need that we all have to know ourselves. One of the great things about growing in self-knowledge is the ability to appreciate the artist that has created us, God. These are just a few things I speak about today. The Frank Friar - Episode 204: Cultivating Vocations

My province has begun our year of vocations. The episode today is about that topic of vocation. My thoughts come at the request of a listener who reached out to me via my social media account. We all play a role in helping people to hear the presence of God, may we continue to be a source of support for those discerning vocations in the Church. The Frank Friar - Episode 203: Our Healer

Christ is our healer. Christ as our healer is the theme for this episode today. The foundation for this reflection comes from the Gospel reading we heard at the Mass this past weekend (28th Sunday in Ordinary time Year C). We are all broken and in need of healing. Fortunately, for us the hands of our king are healing hands. If you like my podcast, please make sure to subscribe to the podcast it really does help me.
