Recently, I saw a movie called “Freaks”.  It is a film based in a world were some people have super human abilities.  The world of this film rejects these abnormal people.  That fear and hate creates a monster.  That reality of hate and its impact is not unlike our own.  That topic of hate, sin and the social impact is something I address in the episode today. During this past week at the day masses we’ve been hearing from Luke 4.  After the healing of St. Peter’s mother-in-law we are told at sunset Christ begins to heal the sick and drive out demons.  What does this scene of Christ’s life teach us about darkness in the life of the christian?  I tackle that question in the episode today.
